Chongyu Zhu is an Associate Professor at the College of
Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Donghua University. He received his
Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University in 2013
and earned a Ph.D. from the Department of Chemistry, University of Warwick in
2017. From 2017 to 2018, he served as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Materials Science and Engineering at the University
of California, Berkeley. After returning to China, he held the position of an Assistant Professor at
the Department of Materials Science, Fudan University (2018–2021). Following two years of industrial experience at Henkel, he joined Donghua University in 2023. His main research areas include polymeric drug delivery materials, biocompatible smart materials for therapeutic use, and the functional finishing of medical textiles.
