Author Biographies

Rodolfo Enemegio received his B.Sc. degree in mechatronics engineering in 2019 and his M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 2022, both from Tecnológico Nacional de México/Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna (México). He has held the position of maintenance technician at Milwaukee Tool. He is currently holding the position of materials supervisor at Lear Corporation. His areas of interest are in robotics, Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy control and nonlinear control.
Francisco Jurado received his B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering in 1996 and his M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 2001, both from Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna (México). He received his D.Sc. degree at Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados (CINVESTAV) del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (I.P.N.) Unidad Guadalajara (México) in 2010. He carried out a research stage at Università Degli Studi Di L' Aquila, L' Aquila, Italy, in 2008, participating in the Non Linear Control of Dynamic Systems and Applications Project under the frame of the M.A.E. Scientific Cooperation Program between Italy and Mexico. He is currently Professor-Researcher at Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM)/Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna, Torreón, México. He has been recognized as having a desirable PRODEP profile since 2012. He is a member of the CONACYT's Accredited Assessors Record (RCEA-CONACYT), evaluating national research projects since 2013. He is also a member of the National System of Researchers at Level 1. He has been distinguished as State Honorific Researcher by the Government of the State of Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico, and the Science and Technology State Council (COECYT). He is an IEEE member. He has served as a TPC member for international conferences. He has also served as a reviewer of many prestigious scientific journals. His main research interests are in nonlinear control design, intelligent control, and the control of distributed parameter systems.
Jonathan Villanueva Tavira received his B.Sc. degree in mechatronics engineering in 2005 and his M.Sc. degree in computer science in 2012 from Centro Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo Tecnológico (Cenidet) (México). He received his D.Sc. degree from Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) in 2021. He was also a founder of the Computer Student Branch Chapter and Computational Intelligence Chapter at Cenidet. His areas of interest are in robotics, artificial neural networks, computer vision and hybrid knowledge-based systems. He received the 2005 Larry K. Wilson Regional Activities Award and IEEE Computer Society Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship. He has presented several papers at national and international conferences. He is a chairman of RAS&CIS Joint Chapter of Morelos Section.
