Dr. Cosmin Popescu is an Adjunct University Lecturer in Structural Engineering at the Division of Structural and Fire Engineering, Department of Civil, Environmental, and Natural Resources Engineering, Luleå University of Technology. Dr. Popescu's research focuses on continued investigations into the assessment of existing structures; innovative methods of repair and strengthening of structures using fiber-reinforced polymers (FRPs); large-scale testing and numerical simulations; and non-destructive testing; monitoring and inspection techniques for existing structures.
Dr. Thomas Blanksvärd currently works as Group Technical Director at Consolis. His educational experience includes receiving a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the Luleå University of Technology from 1999 to 2009. His research focuses on continued investigations into composites; civil engineering; construction; materials; and AutoCAD.
Prof. Dr. Björn Täljsten is a part-time Professor in Structural Engineering at the Luleå University of Technology. Prof. Dr. Täljsten's research focuses on continued investigations into the assessment of the structural capacity of concrete structures; the design of strengthening of concrete structures using FRP; the management of field testing and monitoring of structures; the management of research and industrial projects; and project management.
