Nuria Muñoz-Tebar received her Master's degree in Food Safety Management from the Universidad Camilo José Cela in 2017 and a PhD degree in Agricultural Sciences from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in 2021. Dr. Muñoz-Tebar was a Visiting Researcher at the University of Melbourne in 2020. She is now a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. In the past few years, her career has been focused on researching the use of aromatic plants as alternatives to chemical preservatives, as well as developing new food coatings from plant by-products and seed mucilage.
