Dr. Nadia Saadat is a researcher at the University of Michigan. She received her doctorate degree in Nutrition and Metabolism from Wayne State University. She has expertise in nutrition, metabolism, omics, big data analysis, and bioinformatics. Her research focuses on the application of comprehensive approaches to understand the impact of exposures during pregnancy on the maternal fetal health and developmental programming of offspring. She applies an integrative approach to investigate social, environmental, and biological factors to better understand the pathways that influence maternal and fetal health among pregnant Black women and lead to perinatal heath disparities.
