Prof. Weiwen Li is a Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Shenzhen University in 1990. Then, he moved to Tongji University and obtained his Master's degree in Engineering Management in 2001. Subsequently, he completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2015. In addition, he is a Visiting Scholar at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in the UK, and Meijo University in Japan (Meijo U). He is working on the investigation of concrete beams strengthened with fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP), novel FRP-concrete composite structures, and concrete durability.
Dr. Peng Wang is an Assistant Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering at Shenzhen University. He graduated in Civil Engineering with a Bachelor’s degree from Central South University in 2015, where he obtained his Master's Degree in 2018. Subsequently, he completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2022 and served as a Postdoctor from 2022.9 to 2023.9. He is mainly engaged in the research of seismic resistance of high-speed railway bridges, durability of seawater sea sand concrete-glass fiber reinforced composite materials, green and low-carbon concrete, and high-performance fiber reinforced concrete, and participated in several national scientific research projects.
Dr. Kashan Khan is a dedicated researcher holding a Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University. He has a strong academic foundation, including a Bachelor's degree (Silver Medalist, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology) and a Master's degree from Tianjin University. His current research encompasses a wide range of topics, including steel structures, prefabricated modular steel structures, aluminum structures, and composite structures. He has participated in two national research projects and two provincial and ministerial research projects and also cooperated with experts from Northumbria University and City University of London in the UK in related fields.
