Hang Xu received a B.S. degree in software engineering from Xiamen University, China, in 2012, and a Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from Xiamen University, China, in 2018. In 2019 and 2020, he became a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Engineering and Computer Science, Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical, Electrical and Information Engineering, Putian University, China. His main research interests include evolutionary computation and machine learning.
