Prof. Jun Tao is an associate researcher at the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Fudan University. He received a PhD in fluid mechanics and a Bachelor's degree in aircraft design and engineering from Fudan University. He mainly focused on aircraft design and aerodynamics, and his research directions include complex flow mechanisms, computational aerodynamics, overall aircraft design, aircraft/engine aerodynamic optimization and design, aircraft/engine aerodynamic noise calculation and noise reduction design, and optimization design methods based on artificial intelligence.
Prof. Gang Sun is a dean at the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Fudan University. He received a BS in computational mathematics, an MS, and a PhD in computational aerodynamics from Northwestern University. His research interests are mainly focused on fluid mechanics and overall aircraft design, and his research content is extensive. In terms of fluid mechanics, it mainly involves complex flow mechanisms and computational fluid dynamics; in terms of overall aircraft design, it mainly involves optimization design of overall parameters of the aircraft, overall-aerodynamic integrated design, artificial intelligence design technology, aero-engine flow control research, aero-engine Digital twin research, aircraft engine fault diagnosis, and health management.
Prof. Jinzhang Feng is a professor at Fudan University who is currently serving as a special consultant and technical director of wide-body passenger aircraft engine engineering at China Aviation Development Corporation. He received a doctorate in hydrodynamics from the China Shipbuilding Research Institute (CSSC 702 Research Institute) then engaged in postdoctoral research in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, USA. His academic research fields mainly focus on hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, numerical calculation methods, aeroelasticity and fluid–solid coupling vibration, aerodynamic noise, and combustion instability.
