Dr. Doina Piciu is an Associate Professsor at the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She received her MD and PhD from Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1989. Then, she started working as an MD at Spitalul Clinic de Adulti, Cluj-Napoca. In 1994, she moved to “Ion Chiricuta” Oncology Institute, Cluj-Napoca, as a Nuclear medicine specialist. She is also a member of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), European Association of Hybrid Imaging, European Association of Medical Oncology, Nuclear Medicine Commission and Radionuclide Therapy Committee. She specializes in Diagnosis and therapy of endocrine tumors, Nuclear medicine and diagnosis and therapy with radiopharmaceuticals
