Aleksandr N. Ovchinnikov graduated in physical education (honors diploma, Lobachevsky University) in 2013, then in physical education and sport (honors diploma, Lobachevsky University) in 2014, then in biological sciences (honors diploma, Lobachevsky University) in 2019 and, in 2019, he earned a PhD degree in Physiology (Lobachevsky University). He became senior lecturer in 2020 at the Department of Sports Medicine and Psychology, Lobachevsky University (Russia). In 2020, he also became senior researcher at the Laboratory of Integral Human Health, Lobachevsky University (Russia). In 2021, he became associate professor at the Department of Sports Medicine and Psychology. From 2023 till now, Aleksandr N. Ovchinnikov is the Head of the Laboratory of Non-invasive Diagnostics in Sports, Lobachevsky University. His laboratory research interests include the effects of biologically active compounds, especially royal jelly and coenzyme Q10, on health parameters and exercise performance in athletes, as well as the development of non-invasive methods capable of providing an overview of an individual’s biochemical homeostasis and molecular profile under exercise conditions.
