César de Santos Berbel received his PhD in Civil Engineering Systems from the Technical University of Madrid in 2017. He worked as a Research Assistant in the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Madrid (2012–2019). In 2019, he moved to the School of Architecture of Madrid and was promoted to a Tenured Assistant Professor position in 2023. His research topics mainly include Highway Geometric Design, Road Safety, Geographic Information Systems, and Structural Analyses.
