Prof. Dr. Massimo Messori is a Full Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the Department of Applied Science and Technology of the Polytechnic of Turin. He graduated in Industrial Chemistry in 1992 from the University of Bologna and obtained his PhD in 1997. He held the role of University Researcher at the Department of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science of the University of Bologna in the period 1999-2002. From 2002 to 2017, he was an Associate Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the Faculty of Engineering of Modena of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE). From 2017 to 2021, he was a Full Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the "Enzo Ferrari" Engineering Department (DIEF) of UNIMORE. Since 2021, he has been a Full Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the Department of Applied Science and Technology of the Polytechnic of Turin. He is a co-author of numerous scientific articles published in international journals, patents, and national and international conference presentations. He is a member of the National Interuniversity Consortium for the Science and Technology of Materials (INSTM). He is co-founder of the university spinoffs MAT3D (design, development, and production of special resins for additive manufacturing) and Agromateriae (valorization of agro-industrial waste for the production of bio-composites).
