Christophe Claramunt is a professor of computer science at the Naval Academy Research Institute in France. His research interests include theoretical and pluridisciplinary aspects of geographical information science (GIS) and its applications to the urban, maritime, and environmental domains. He has widely published in the domain of GIS and serves on the editorial boards of several international GIS journals and major GIS conferences, including acting as an associate editor of the International Journal of Geographical Information Science.
