Dr. Ge Liu received a B.S. degree from Liaocheng University, Liaocheng, China, in 2011 and a Ph.D. degree in environmental remote sensing from Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing, China, in 2017. He joined the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017 as an assistant researcher. His research interests include water color remote sensing and optical properties in optically complex water bodies.
Prof. Dr. Kaishan Song received an M.S. degree in GIS and cartography from Northeast Normal University, Changchun, China, in 2002, and a Ph.D. degree in remote sensing application from the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology (IGA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Changchun, China, in 2005. He is currently a Full Professor for Remote Sensing of Environment Applications with IGA, CAS. His scientific interests lie mostly in environmental chemistry, physical geography, carbon cycle, eutrophication, and wetlands. His study focuses on the intersection of environmental chemistry and fields such as colored dissolved organic matter with connections in the
field of Absorption, Algorithm, and Attenuation coefficients. His work that is carried out in the field of physical geography brings together such families of science such as algal blooms, spatial variability, water quality, spatial ecology and plateaus.
