He received his BS degree in mechanical engineering from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea, in 2007, his MS degree in mechanical engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, Korea, in 2009, and his PhD degree in electrical engineering from The University of Tokyo, Japan, 2012. From 2012--2015, he was a senior engineer at Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Gyeonggi-do, Korea. He is an associate professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Yeungnam University, Gyeongbuk, Korea.
His research interests include motion control, vehicle dynamics and control, electric vehicles.
