Ivan Smajla is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Zagreb in 2015 and 2017. He was a student intern at INA from January to July 2017 and a Student Assistant at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb from October 2013 to September 2017.
Daria Karasalihović Sedlar is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Mining, Geology, and Petroleum Engineering, University of Zagreb. She received a Ph.D. degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Zagreb. Her scientific research relates to energy economics, natural gas sector management, geothermal energy potential assessment, and CCUS policy and development strategies. She is a member of the Council for Energy Transition of the President of the Republic of Croatia and an International Gas Union member. As an SPE student faculty advisor and SPE Education and Accreditation Committee member, she has been involved in numerous SPE projects.
