Dr. Xiaolin Wu is a Lecturer and Researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Wheat and Maize Crop Science, College of Life Science, Henan Agricultural University, in Zhengzhou, China. She serves as a reviewer/editor for Frontiers in Plant Science. She has 76 publications with more than 1200 citations (ResearchGate, 29 March 2024) and an h-index of 16. Her primary research interests lie in the field of maize stress proteomics. Her main areas of expertise include mass spectrometry, proteome profiling, immunoblot analysis, drought stress, proteomic analysis, subcellular protein localization, maize, abscisic acid (ABA), maize seed viability, abiotic stress, post-translational modifications, 2DE, stress-responsive proteins, and protein extraction.
Prof. Wei Wang is a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the College of Life Sciences, Henan Agricultural University. He received his PhD from the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1995, his Master’s degree from Northwest A&F University in 1992, and his Bachelor's degree from Shandong Agricultural University in 1985. From September 1995 to September 1999, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Associate Professor at the School of Life Sciences, Xiamen University. From October 1999 to December 2000, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). From 2001 to 2006, he served as Project Leader (PI) at the School of Life Sciences, University of Siena (Italy). He received the Outstanding Scientific and Technological Innovation Talents of Henan Province award in 2014, and Academic and Technical Leader of Henan Province award in 2008. He is also the Editor of Frontiers in Plant Science (2014 to present) and a member of the Crop Research Committee of the International Plant Protein Organization (INPPO). His main research area is the molecular mechanism of corn drought stress responses.
