Waseem Abbas received his master’s degree in animal nutrition from the University of Sargodha from pakistan in 2016 and is now pursuing a PhD in animal nutrition at China Agricultural University. Yu Yuming is the dean of the College of Animal Science and Technology, a distinguished professor of the Talent Program of the Ministry of Education, deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition, vice-president of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (October 2016 to present), deputy director of the National New Feed Review Committee (October 2000 to present), vice chairman of the Beijing Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Association (January 2015 to present), editor in chief of the China Animal Husbandry Journal (January 2016 to present), deputy editor in chief of Animal Nutrition (January 2012 to present), and member of the editorial board of the Asian–Australasian Journal of Animal Science (January 2008 to present) and Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology (January 2010 to present). He was the chairman of the Animal Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine from October 2012 to October 2016).
Wang Zhong, PhD, associate professor, supervisor of doctoral and master students. His research interests include yeasts, vitamin D, probiotics, and phytochemicals. He has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation of China project and one international cooperation project, participated in one National Science and Technology Support program, one National Key Basic R&D program, one public welfare industry science and technology special project of the Ministry of Agriculture, one agricultural achievement transformation project, and has presided over six horizontal science and technology cooperation projects. He has been first author and corresponding author in the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Scientific Reports, Applied and Environmental Microbiology, Nutrition and Metabolism, Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology, Animal Feed Science and Technology, Poultry Science, Animal Science Journal, and other journals and has had more than 20 SCI papers published. He has had more than 50 papers published in Chinese journals as first author or corresponding author. Other achievements include a National Science and Technology Progress Award 2 in December 1999 from the National Science and Technology Progress (ranked 7) and second prize in Scientific and Technological Progress from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (ranked 10th). He has edited four monographs.
