Author Biographies

Prof. Abraham Kabutey is an Associate Professor of Technique and Mechanization in Agriculture at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Prague, Czech Republic. Prof. Kabutey holds a Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana (2006). He obtained his Master of Science degree in Technology and Environmental Engineering (2010) and PhD degree in Agricultural Engineering (Engineering of Agricultural Technological Systems) (2014), both from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. Prof. Kabutey's research activities are focused on the mechanical and rheological properties of agricultural materials, oil extraction processes and optimization, biomass densification techniques, spectrophotometric analysis of vegetable oils, and drying kinetics of agricultural materials. He has authored/co-authored considerable publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings indexed in Web of Science and Scopus with an H-Index of 12 without self-citations. He is a member of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). Currently, he serves as a Co-Editor of Research in the Agricultural Engineering Journal of the Czech Academy of Agricultural Sciences and an Academic Editor for Processes Journal as well as an Expert Reviewer for several scientific journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
