Roger S Armen is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the College of Pharmacy,
Thomas Jefferson University, USA. He obtained his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry
from the University of Washington in 2004 and has since worked as a
Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute (2005–2007) and the
University of Michigan (2008–2010). He has been working at Thomas Jefferson
University since 2010. His research interests are focused on the molecular
basis of human diseases and using medicinal chemistry to understand the action
of therapeutic agents. Currently, he is involved in various collaborative projects in the focus area of pulmonary diseases (asthma, COPD, acute lung injury, and respiratory viruses) which are research strengths at the Jefferson Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) Center of Translational Medicine (CTM).
