Dr. Bogdan-Alexandru Gheban is an Assistant Professor of Pathology in the Department of Histology at the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and a Pathologist at Emergency County Clinical Hospital Cluj-Napoca. He completed a Medical Specialty in Pathology at the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2021 and obtained an MD (General Medicine) in 2016 from the same university. His areas of interest are morphometry, digital pathology, immunohistochemistry, endocrine pathology, neurosurgery, gynecology, pediatrics, and cytology.
Prof. Dr. Maria Crisan is a Professor in the Department of Histology at the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She obtained her Ph.D. at the same university, and subsequently served as a Histology Lecturer from 2004 to 2014. In addition, she is a founding member of the International Physiology Optimization Medical Society (IPOMS) created in 2014, a member of the Romanian Dermatology Society (SRD), a founding member of the Romanian Society of Dermato-Oncology (SRDO) created in 2011, and has been a member of the Romanian Society of Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology (SRUMB) since 2010. Her research interests are histology, general dermatopathology, dermatooncology, skin aging, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, and cutaneous sonography.
