Dr. Sandra Sanchez Poza is a Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. She earned her doctoral degree from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in 2002 under the supervision of Dr. Carlos M. Ferreirós Domínguez and Dr. María Teresa Criado Álvarez. Her research interests are focused on Microbiology and Parasitology.

Dr. Eva Torres-Sangiao is currently employed at Complexo Hospitalario Universitario de Santiago de Compostela as a Clinical Medical Microbiologist. She obtained her Master's and Doctorate degrees from the University of Santiago de Compostela and received her Post-Doctorate from Lund University. She is a Young Ambassador at the American Society of Microbiology and her research focuses on Infectious Diseases and Public Health.
