Qingjun Guan is currently an Associate Professor at the Hunan University of Science and Technology. He graduated from Central South University in 2018 with a major in Mining Engineering and received a PhD in Engineering. He is mainly engaged in research on the comprehensive utilization of mining solid waste, extraction of rare and
precious metals from coal and its by-products, solution extraction, and environmental emergency treatment of tailings ponds. He is a member of the Nonferrous Metals Society of China.
Weijian Yu obtained his PhD from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2009. He is currently a Professor at Hunan University of Science and Technology. He is the Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Hunan University of Science and Technology and the Director of the Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Clean Utilization of Coal Resources and Mine Environmental Protection. He is mainly engaged in theoretical and technical research on deep rock mechanics and surrounding rock control, underground engineering and geotechnical tunnels, underground mining and mine slopes, etc.
Zhenyue Zhang is a Professor of the School of Resources and Safety Engineering, at the Wuhan Institute of Technology. He is the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Engineering of Ministry of Education. He obtained his Doctor of Engineering degree from the Central South University in 2017. He is a Member of the Geology and Mineral Processing Professional Committee of the China Rare Earth Society.
Ru’an Chi is a Professor and the Dean of the School of Resources and Safety Engineering, at the Wuhan Institute of Technology. He is the Director of the Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Engineering of Ministry of Education. He obtained his Doctor of Engineering degree from Central South University in 1991. His research interests include rare earth mineral processing, rare earth hydrometallurgy, rare earth element geochemistry and separation engineering.
