Cong Li received his Ph.D. in Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Reproduction from China Agricultural University in 2016. He has worked as an associate professor at the College of Animal Science and Technology at Northwest A&F University since 2016. He was awarded the First Prize of the 15th Teaching Competition for Young Teachers of Northwest A&F University and the Outstanding Paper Award of the 9th China Animal Husbandry Science and Technology Forum. He has published 60 papers in various journals as well as for 18 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Key Research and Development Plan of Shaanxi Province, etc. His teaching disciplines include biostatistics and experimental design, new technology in animal breeding, and modern animal breeding science. His interests include molecular quantitative genetics, analysis of the genetic basis of important economic traits of dairy goats, and research on breeding technology for dairy goats.
