Tobia Zanotto is an assistant professor in the KU Department
of Occupational Therapy Education. He joined the faculty at KU Medical Center
in September 2022. In addition to his teaching role, he also provides
mentorship to the students in the occupational therapy degree programs at KU
Medical Center. He is a leading member of the mobility core at the KU Center
for Community Access, Rehabilitation Research, Education and Service. He worked
as a postdoctoral fellow in the Mobility and Falls Lab at KU Medical Center, and
before that at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as part of a
mentor-based fellowship funded by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Florien W. Boele is an Associate Professor of Medical
Psychology supported by a Yorkshire Cancer Research University Academic
Fellowship. She joined the University of Leeds in 2016. She obtained her PhD
from the VU University in Amsterdam in 2015. She worked with research groups at
the University of Pittsburgh and the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh as a
visiting research scholar from 2015 to 2016. She is a Yorkshire Cancer Research
University Academic Fellow and an Associate Editor for Neuro-Oncology Practice.
She is a member of the NCRI Brain Supportive and Palliative Care Subgroup, the
European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) and the British Psychosocial
Oncology Society.
