Juan Antonio Ferriz-Papi has been working as a Lecturer since 2001. He started at the University of Alicante as a part-time Lecturer (2001-2009), and later as an assistant Lecturer (2009-2013). He participated in different projects, including Climate KIC – Pioneers into Practice. In 2015, he started as a full-time Lecturer at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. During that period (2015-2020), he worked at the School of Built and Natural Environments and developed different activities about teaching, research and management in Higher Education. He created links with the construction industry in the UK as well as other universities and research institutions, nationally and internationally. In May 2020, he started as a Lecturer in Building Surveying at the University of Salford, where he continues developing his career in both lecturing and research. Currently, he is the program leader of the MSc Sustainable Buildings, and running different (national and international) funded projects in circular economy in construction and embodied carbon in construction materials, participating in the UKGBC Circular Forum and Greater Manchester Sustainable Consumption and Production Group, representing the University of Salford at the CIRIA Council, and collaborating with Energy House and NERIC Research Centres at the University of Salford. His main research interests are sustainable construction, carbon assessment and circular economy.
Professor Angela Lee is the Associate Dean (Research) of the University
College of Estate Management (UCEM), UK, and Honorary Research Professor at the University of Salford. She received her BA (Hons) in Architecture
from the University of Sheffield and earned her Ph.D. from the University of
Salford, with no corrections to her submitted thesis. Her research interest lies in performance management, process
management and design management within the built environment domain, and span issues ranging from construction waste management, equality and diversity, sustainability, and modern methods of construction.
