Dr. Pengfu Liu is an assistant researcher at the Collaborative Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta Region Green Pharmaceuticals, Zhejiang University of Technology, China. He graduated from Henan University in 2002, majoring in Fermentation Engineering, and obtained his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Microbiology from the Huazhong Agricultural University, China, in 2009. He continued his post-doctoral studies at the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from November 2009 to November 2011. After that, he worked as an assistant researcher at the Shanghai Institutes for Advanced Studies, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from December 2011 to April 2016. He joined the Zhejiang University of Technology in May 2016. His research interests are enzyme engineering and synthetic biology.
Prof. Xiaohe Chu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University of Technology, China. He is also the executive deputy director of the Collaborative Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta Region Green Pharmaceuticals, Zhejiang University of Technology. Since his graduation in 1990, he has been the chief engineer of a listed company and the general manager of a large pharmaceutical enterprise. He has been engaged in technical research and technical management related to biochemicals and has been engaged in the development and production of more than 20 new products, such as enzyme preparations, amino acids, steroid hormones, natural pigments, traditional Chinese medicine extracts, bio-agro-antibiotics, synthetic agro-veterinary drugs, and pharmaceutical intermediates. He has won many awards and honors, such as the second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress once, the first prize of Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress once, the second prize three times, the third prize three times, the first prize of the National Federation of Industry and Commerce once, the third prize of the China Petrochemical Association once, etc. He has published more than 20 papers in domestic and foreign journals and has been authorized for more than 30 patents.
