Author Biographies

Andrei Pătrăușanu is currently a PhD student in Computer Science at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (2023 - present). The main topics of his PhD research are Evolutionary Computing, Genetics Algorithms and Multi-objective Optimization Problems. He has been working as Assistant Professor at the same University since 2021. He received his M.Sc. degree in Advanced Computing Systems in 2023 and his Bachelor degree in 2021 at the same University.
Adrian Florea is a Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (LBUS), Romania. He completed his PhD studies in Computer Science from 'Politehnica' University of Bucharest, Romania in 2005. He received the ‘Tudor Tanasescu’ Romanian Academy Award in 2005 and the ‘Ad Augusta Per Angusta’ Award for Young Researcher in June 2007 from LBUS, for scientific research. He is a HiPEAC affiliate member and ACM Senior member. He has published over 9 books and 111 scientific papers.  He was a researcher in the "iRead” H2020 project (2017-2021), and the technical coordinator of "DigiFoF" - the Erasmus+ KA2 strategic project (2019-2021). He won two grants (2016, 2021) financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism for building capacities and developing digital platforms with applicability in smart cities and smart agriculture. He is also local coordinator of ‘EoFSSS’ KA220-VET project (2022-2024), an initiative of Erasmus+ funding mechanism for vocational training. Professor Florea is local coordinator of the 'RONAQCI' project within the Digital Europe programme (2023-2025) and of the ‘CoDEMO’ project, an initiative supported by the Erasmus+ funding mechanism (2023-2026). His domains of professional interest include Advanced Computing Architectures, Prediction, Speculation, IoT, Embedded Systems, Software scheduling, Simulation and Benchmarking, Evolutionary Computing, Genetics Algorithms, Multi-obective Optimization Problems, Educational software.
Dr. Mihai Neghină is currently working as a Lecturer at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. He graduated from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in 2006. He received his Master's in Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence and his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at the same university in 2008 and 2011, respectively. His fields of interest are signal processing (including audio signal and image processing), communications (including error-correcting codes), and artificial intelligence (including neural networks, nature-inspired and evolutionary algorithms).

Dr. Radu Chiș is currently working as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. He received his M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu in 2011 and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in 2015. Subsequently, he spent two years getting the Doctor of Philosophy PhD in Computer Science at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu from 2015 to 2017. With a robust skill set that includes .NET, C#, XML, OOP, SQL and more, Dr. Chis contributes valuable insights to the industry.
