Dr Barbara E. Meyer is an academic researcher at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München, Department of General Pedagogy and Educational Research, Leopoldstraße 13 in Munich, Germany. Initially trained as a Psycholinguist at the LMU, she completed her doctorate in school education on critical situations in the classroom. She then worked as a researcher at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Nuremberg and as a substitute professor at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt before returning to the LMU. Her areas of expertise include vertical development, personal development in education, education for sustainable development (ESD), teaching and learning, technology-enhanced learning, instructional design and curriculum development. Dr. Barbara Meyer is a member of the DGfE (German association for educational science) and MLE (Mind and Life Society Europe).
