Xintong Wei is a PhD candidate
in Design at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, and concurrently
a visiting PhD student in the Department of Architecture, National University
of Singapore. Her research interests include: (1) built heritage; (2)
traditional villages in China; (3) place identity.
Haoming Zhou received
his Bachelor's and Doctoral degrees in Architecture from Tsinghua University
and Southeast University, respectively. He is currently a professor and the director
of the Institute of Sustainable Design at the Art and Science Research Center, Academy
of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. His research focuses on: (1) sustainable
design; (2) conservation of traditional Chinese villages.
Nikhil Joshi received his doctoral degree in Architecture from
the National University of Singapore (NUS). He is now a Senior Lecturer in the
Department of Architecture at NUS. His research interests include: (1) cultural
heritage management; (2) traditional building materials and techniques; (3) community
participatory approaches.
