Dr. Lorenzo Moretti is a Surgeon and a Specialist in Orthopaedics. He specializes in orthopedics and traumatology, occupation in treatment, and locomotor, in particular, of pathologies resulting from sports traumas and joint degeneration. Since 2009, he has been a response in shoulder-knee and traumatology. In the same years, he began arthroscopic knee shoulder surgery after conducting various fellowships and courses in Italy and abroad. He was a team doctor for Bari football, Monopoli football, and the Albanian national football team with whom he played in the Nations League and part of the European football championships.
Dr. Giovanni Vicenti is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, Neuroscience and Sense Organs, Orthopaedic and Trauma Unit, University of Bari Aldo Moro, Bari, Italy. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Experimental Neurobiology from the University of Bari Aldo Moro and obtained a National Scientific Qualification for 2nd-level professor in 2017. He specializes in Ortopedia del Ginocchio, Ortopedia e traumatologia del sistema motorio, Ortopedia Pediatrica, Ortopedia dell'anca, Ortopedia del piede, Ortopedia della mano, and Ortopedia della Spalla.
Dr. Angela Notarnicola is an Assistant Professor and a Researcher at the University of Bari, a Medical Director of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit of the Bari Polyclinic, a Specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and she obtained a Ph.D. in Anatomy–Physiology of Joints and Joint Prostheses. She has experience with shock wave application since 2005, particularly for tendon and bone diseases. Her new research on ESWT application in skin and vessel areas, and other main research activities are in the area of human posture and movement, in health and disease subjects, and rehabilitation programs. In addition, she has been a member of SITOD (Italian Society of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy) since 2005 and a member of the Directive Council of SITOD since 2008.
Dr. Giuseppe Solarino is currently an Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro", where he is a Member of the Academic Senate. He teaches Musculoskeletal diseases in several courses at the School of Medicine and works as a surgeon at the Policlinico Teaching Hospital in Bari. He focused his major scientific and surgical interests on degenerative pathologies of hip and knee in adults, traumatological disorders of the lower limbs, primary and revision total hip and knee replacements, treatment of fractures in the elderly, and periprosthetic fractures. He has published more than 100 scientific papers in international journals about all the fields of orthopedics and traumatology, with a special interest in the area of joint replacements. He is the President of the Italian Society for Revision Surgery (AIR), the Secretary of the Italian Hip Society (SIdA), the Vice President of the Technology Committee of the Italian Society of Knee, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (SIAGASCOT), a member of the Italian Section of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EBOT), the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SIOT), and the European Hip Society (EHS).
