Author Biographies

Abd Ulghafour Mohammad works as an associate professor in Information Systems at West University. He holds a master degree in computer engineering and networks, a master degree in computer information systems, and a postgraduate diploma in programming and operating systems. He received his PhD degree in computer information systems at Damascus University in 2011. Abd Ulghafour developed in his master thesis an access control model for securing web services in open, dynamic, and distributed environments. His doctoral work focused on using the semantics web to represent the security requirements and capabilities of the access control model. In addition, he researched and wrote several scientific articles in IT security and privacy. For more than twenty years Abd Ulghafour has taught and developed a broad range of computer science and IT courses in undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as lab sections. These courses are IT security, distributed system, web services, network programming, data structure and algorithms, operating systems, software engineering, and programming languages.
