Dr. Kurmendra, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, India. He did his Bachelor of Technology degree in ECE from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Further he successfully obtained his Master of Technology degree in Microelectronics & VLSI Design from NIT, Silchar, Assam. he undertook Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at NERIST (A Centrally Funded Technical Institute under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India), Itanagar, India. Prior to his current position at Rajiv Gandhi University, he contributed his knowledge and skills as a Guest Faculty (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at MNNIT (MoE, Govt. of India), Allahabad, India, from July 2015 to February 2016. He served as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Electronics Engineering Department at IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. In recognition of his exceptional academic and presentation skills, he was honored with the Outstanding Presenter Award at an international conference organized by Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Kuala Lumpur, in the year 2019. His research interests span MEMS Switch, MEMS Biosensors, MEMS Photonics, and Semiconductor Devices.
