Prof. Dr. Haifeng Zhang is a Professor at the School of Geographic Sciences, Qinghai Normal University. From 2012 to 2013, he served as a domestic senior visiting scholar of the Ministry of Education at the School of Environment, Peking University. He has chaired or participated in the completion of a number of national, provincial, and ministerial-level scientific research projects. He has served as a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Geographical Society and a member of the Human Geography Professional Committee of the Chinese Geographical Society. He has edited or co-edited five academic books including "Urban Moderate Population Capacity: Theory, Methods and Applications", and published more than 40 professional academic papers in journals such as "The Journal of Geographical Sciences" and "Acta Geographica". He is currently mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research in the areas of regional development and management, resource environment, and GIS application.
