Author Biographies

Raphaël Serreau has been a doctor as well as teacher and researcher at the Léonard de Vinci Institute for 12 years within the clinical research associate course. After completing his doctorate in medicine at the François Rabelais University of Tours and in Pharmacology at the University of Paris V René Descartes in 2007 on risk management plans during pregnancy and breastfeeding, he joined the Center for Clinical Research at the Cochin and Necker Hospital in Paris. He became a professor of clinical research in May 2016 at ILV Paris la Défense University. He works in Paris at the AP-HP University Hospitals Paris Saclay, at the Psychiatry Comorbidities and Addictions Research Unit “psycomadd” and has worked in the mental heath hospital "EPSM Georges DAUMEZON" since 2021 in Fleury les Aubrais for clinical activity in addictology. He became the head of pharmacology in the new university hospital in Orleans in September 2023. He has 35 publications in PUBMED and an h-index of 13 (Scopus, 8 December 2023).

Amine Benyamina is a professor of psychiatry and addictology at the Paul Brousse University Hospital in Villejuif. He is also a professor at the Paris Saclay Faculty of Medicine and is responsible for several national and international university degrees. He is editor-in-chief of the French medical journal “Alcoologie et Addictologie” and administrator of the French Society of Alcoology (SFA) and the French Association of Biological Psychiatry and Neuropsychopharmacology (AFPBN). He is also president of the FFA (French Federation of Addictology), president of the Action Addiction Fund, President of the CNU (National University College) of Addictology and President of the Collegiate Addictology of the APHP (Assistance Publique Hôpitaux de Paris). He is the founder of the international addiction congress “Albatross”, which takes place every year in Paris. He has 109 publications with 1567 citations and an h-index of 22 (Scopus, 8 December 2023).
