Prof. Jiazhong Wu currently works at the State Key Laboratory of Enhanced Oil Recovery, Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development of PetroChina and Institute of Porous Flow and Fluid Mechanics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained a Bachelor's degree at the Jianghan Petroleum Institute, a Master's degree at Southwest Petroleum University and a Ph.D. at China Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute. He also completed his Postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests are the interaction between injection medium and reservoir medium, water injection to improve oil recovery technology in low permeability reservoirs, and multimedia fluid seepage in porous media.
