Dr. Cătălin Popescu is Professor of Management at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania. His teaching and research interests includes Project Management, Quantitative methods for business and management, Operations management, HRM, Energy and Environmental Management, Feasibility studies, Petroleum economics and Sustainable Development. He has 32 years of experience in Higher Education. Starting with 2016, he is PhD supervisor in Engineering and Management domain. Dr. Popescu has published over 235 articles, 9 books, 12 book chapters, he participated in 45 International conferences (in more than 27 different countries), and he was involved in more than 35 scientific research grants and international projects. He was also member of Scientific Committees within more than 50 International conferences and he was six times plenary speaker.
