Mehmet Sarper Takkeci received his Bachelor's in Architecture and Master's degree from the Istanbul Technical University in 2008 and 2011, and is now pursuing Ph.D. in Architectural Design Computing. He is currently working at the Istinye University, Department of Architecture. His research topics mainly include design education and gamification.

Arzu Erdem earned, from the Istanbul Technical University, a BSc, MSc, and a PhD in 1983, 1985, and 1995, respectively. She is now the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture at Istinye University. Her research interests include design education, computational design thinking, and interdisciplinary strategies of design practice and education.
