Omar Elmadhoun is currently a critical care, neuroanesthesia
consultant at the Mayo Clinic and an assistant professor at the Mayo Clinic
Alix School of Medicine. He obtained an M.D. from Wayne State University,
Michigan, and an M.P.H. from Harvard University School of Public Health,
Massachusetts. He completed his residency at Beth Israel Deaconess/Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts, and received an anesthesiology critical care medicine
fellowship from Mayo Clinic, Minnesota. His clinical interests include
hyperoxia in the ICU and perioperative setting, echo for hemodynamic monitoring,
and fluid management in the ICU, MCS, and neuroanesthesia.
