Qinghe Chen is a Professor at the School of Tropical
Agriculture and Forestry, School of Breeding and Multiplication (Sanya
Institute of Breeding and Multiplication), Hainan University. He holds a Master’s
degree in Plant Pathology from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University and a
PhD in Plant Pathology from Nanjing Agricultural University. He was a Postdoc
at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University (2006–2009) and at Texas A&M
University (2006–2007). He is mainly engaged in plant pathology and molecular
biology research, and has made significant progress in the research of
the pathogenic mechanisms and green prevention and control of tropical crop
epidemics, and the research and development of rapid molecular detection
technology for invasive alien species and quarantine pests.
Wanzhen Feng is a Lecturer at the School of Tropical
Agriculture and Forestry, School of Breeding and Multiplication (Sanya
Institute of Breeding and Multiplication), Hainan University. She earned her Bachelor’s
degree from Hainan University in 2015 and a PhD from Nanjing Agricultural
University in 2021. Afterward, she joined Hainan University in the same year. Her
research interests mainly focus on the molecular biology of oomycetes.
