Professor Moulay Akhloufi obtained his M.Sc.A. in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, QC, Canada, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Laval University, QC, Canada. In addition, he holds an MBA from Laval University. He is currently a Professor in Computer Science at the
University of Moncton, NB, Canada. He also leads the Perception, Robotics, and Intelligent Machines Research Lab (PRIME) and acts as the director of the Artificial Intelligence Center NB Power. Prior to joining the University of Moncton in 2016, he amassed over 15 years of experience in industry and technology transfer, particularly in the areas of machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. Professor Akhloufi is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of SPIE.
