Zhenming Ji is an associate professor at the School of Atmosphere Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University. He completed his PhD studies at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He carried out postdoctoral research at the University of Connecticut from 2013 to 2014 and at Loyola Marymount University from 2014 to 2015. He served as an assistant research fellow at the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from 2015 to 2017. His teaching disciplines include fluid mechanics and numerical weather prediction.
