Zhuangkun Wei is currently a Research Fellow at the School of Aerospace, Transport, and Manufacturing (SATM), at Cranfield University, UK. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the School of Information and Communication Engineering (SICE), Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), and earned a Ph.D. degree from the School of Engineering (SoE), University of Warwick. His research interests cover cybersecurity, reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS), graph signal processing, and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (X-AI).
Samuel Court is a Research Fellow in Augmented Reality and Laboratory Manager for the Centre for Digital Engineering and Manufacturing, Cranfield University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hons.) from Aston University. He is a Computer Scientist with experience in mobile, web and application development. His expertise includes Computer Vision, Augmented and Virtual Reality with a current focus on cross-platform full-stack mobile development, software-as-a-service and the internet of things.
Lichao Yang is a Research Fellow in computer vision and artificial intelligence at the Centre for Life-Cycle Engineering and Management, Cranfield University. He received his BEng in Automotive Engineering from Coventry University and his MSc in Automotive Mechatronics from Cranfield University, and then earned his Ph.D. from Cranfield University in 2022. His research interests include Computer vision, Image processing, Deep learning, machine learning, and Human behavior analysis.
Shuozhi Wang is pursuing a Ph.D. in Data Science at the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing, Cranfield University. Shuozhi Wang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cranfield University. During the postgraduate period, Shuozhi Wang took part in a group project to design an AI algorithm for detecting COVID-19 in X-ray. Currently, Shuozhi Wang is working on AI for smart construction sites project.
Yifan Zhao is a Professor of Data Science at Cranfield University, UK. He received his Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control and System Engineering from the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK, in 2007. He received the MSc and BEng degrees in Automatic Control Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, China, in 2003 and 2000, respectively. His research interests include computer vision, artificial intelligence, signal processing, non-destructive testing, and nonlinear system identification. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Senior Member of IEEE.
