Prof. Dr. Pei-Xun Zhang currently works as a Professor and a Chief Physician at the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma, Peking University People’s Hospital, Beijing, China. He is also the Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Trauma and Neural Regeneration,
Ministry of Education. He is a Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Orthopedics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. He graduated from Peking University School of Medicine in 2005, where he received his Ph.D. His clinical directions include the following: elderly hip injuries, femoral head necrosis, spinal degeneration and intervertebral disc disease, nonunions, shoulder pain, and nerve damage. His research areas include the following: trauma, nerve injury and repair, and new biomaterials.
