Laura Porcarelli has been interested in neurology since graduating from the University of Perugia in 2007, where she completed a thesis on the surgical treatment of caudal cervical spondylomyelopathy in dogs.
She is a member of the Italian (SINVET) and European (ESVN) veterinary neurology societies, where she attends continuing education courses on neurology, neuropathology, electrodiagnostics, and diagnostic imaging. She also participates as a speaker in meetings and congresses. She is a co-author of several scientific publications related to neurology and diagnostic imaging.
She is engaged in a pathway to obtain the European Diploma in Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) under the supervision of Dr. Daniele Corlazzoli.
Since 2021, she has been collaborating with the Centro Veterinario Gregorio VII, focusing on neurology, neurosurgery, and electrodiagnostics.
