Rafał Filip, M.D., PhD., is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rzeszów, Poland, and Head of Department of Gastroenterology with the IBD Unit. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Baylor College of Medicine, United States Department of Agriculture/Agricultural Research Service Children's Nutrition Research Center from 2004 to 2005. His skills and expertise include gastroenterology, clinical trials, nutrition, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, bone metabolism, and stem cell biology.
