Axel A. Mendoza-Armenta is a biomedical engineer proficient in research and modeling centered on technological design, involved in signal processing, data analysis and code development to drive innovations in the neuroscience field. He has been a Research Assistant at the Mechatronics Department, School of Engineering and Sciences, Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico, since 2022. Additionally, he is an active member of the IUCRC BRAIN TEC International Site.
Dr. Alejandro Arceo is a Postdoctoral Researcher (EIC Bioengineering) at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. He received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Universidad de Colima. In 2014, he received his M.S. degree in mathematical engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain. Also, he received another M.S. degree in process engineering from Universidad de Colima, in 2018. He obtained his Ph.D. in electric and electronics engineering from the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas in the north of Mexico. His research interests include the study of algebraic and analytical properties of orthogonal polynomials, a mathematical theory with many applications in physics and engineering. Recently, he has studied some applications of orthogonal polynomials in the study of the robust stability of linear systems.
Mauricio A. Ramírez-Moreno received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics from the University of the Valley of Mexico in 2013, and an MD and PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Physics from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies Monterrey Unit in 2015 and 2019, respectively. He has been a postdoctoral researcher at Tecnologico de Monterrey (2020-2021) and at the University of Houston (2021-2022). Since August of 2022, he has been a Full-time Professor at the School of Engineering and Sciences, Mechatronics Department, Tecnologico de Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico. His research interests mainly focus on EEG; cognitive performance; education; neuroengineering; machine learning; and biomechanics.
Jorge de J. Lozoya-Santos received a BE in Electronic Engineering from the Technological Institute of Laguna, Torreón, Mexico (2000) and a Master's in Science in Automation (2005) and PhD in Mechatronics and Advanced Materials (2013) from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies, Campus Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico. He is a Professor at the Mechatronics Department, School of Engineering and Sciences, Tecnologico de Monterrey. His research interests are intelligent transportation systems, modeling and control of systems, applied automatic control, and automotive systems.
