Dr. Francesca Sanguedolce received her M.D. degree from the University of Bari in 1999, with the highest grades and honors (110/110 summa cum laude). In 2004, Dr. Sanguedolce received her Diploma in Pathology from the University of Bari, with the highest grades and honors (50/50 summa cum laude). In 2008, Dr. Sanguedolce received a PhD in Morphometrics and Molecular Biology at the University of Bari. From 2005 to the present, Dr. Sanguedolce is a Surgical Pathologist at the Department of Pathology, University Hospital of Foggia, Italy. Dr. Sanguedolce’s expertise includes (1) surgical and clinical pathology, cytopathology, autopsy. Her fields of interest include hematopathology (bone marrow biopsy), female reproductive tract pathology, gastrointestinal and liver pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, soft tissue and bone lesions, immunopathology; (2) immunohistochemistry, electronics microscopy, TMA (tissue microarray); (3) molecular biology: CGH (comparative genomic hybridization) and other hybridization techniques, and MS-PCR (methylation-specific polymerase chain reaction).

Gian Maria Busettis has worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences at the University of Foggia since 2021. Since 2021, he has worked as a urologist at the “Ospedali Riuniti” Academic Hospital in Foggia. He received his PhD in 2016 from Sapienza University of Rome.
