Shammi Sultana Nisha currently works at the Material Science and Engineering, Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. She conducts research in polymer chemistry. Their current project is 'Finding new aspect of hydrogen sulfate ionic liquid as a nanoparticle deliver medium in epoxy resin'. She has been studying mainly composites with epoxy matrix and natural fillers including lignin extracted from native Australian plants. The results of her studies should provide a substantial contribution to the body of knowledge in the area of polymer composites with natural fillers by characterizing and analyzing the functionality of the polymeric group for additive manufacturing applications.
Racim Radjef is a Research Fellow at Swinburne University of Technology working at the Swinburne/CSIRO Industry 4.0 Testlab for Composite Additive Manufacturing. Dr. Radjef's research interests are focused on the individual processing steps of the industry-scale composite production line located at the Testlab. These include automated tape laying of thermoset, thermoplastic, and bindered dry-fibre tapes, double-diaphragm forming, infrared heating + shuttling, stamp forming processes as well as ultrasonic welding of thermoplastics. He received a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Aerospace engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and a Doctor of Philosophy from Swinburne University of Technology.
