Lacramioara Ionela Butnariu graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Grigore T. Popa Iasi, in 1997. Dr. Butnariu became a medical genetics specialist in 2005 and obtained a Ph.D. in medical genetics in 2011. Dr. Butnariu has been a lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Grigore T. Popa Iasi, Medical Genetics Department, and Medical Genetics Doctor of Emergency Hospital for Children Sf Maria Iasi since 2005. Lacramioara Ionela Butnariu has been an associate professor since 2023.

Elena Cojocaru's current and previous research interests include the renin–angiotensin system, which has so many physiological and pathological implications. Elena Cojocaru is also a specialist in laboratory medicine. Elena Cojocaru's areas of expertise are physiology, laboratory medicine, and pulmonology.
