Lacramioara Ionela Butnariu graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Grigore T. Popa Iasi, in 1997. Dr. Butnariu became a medical genetics specialist in 2005 and obtained a Ph.D. in medical genetics in 2011. Dr. Butnariu has been a lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Grigore T. Popa Iasi, Medical Genetics Department, and Medical Genetics Doctor of Emergency Hospital for Children Sf Maria Iasi since 2005. Lacramioara Ionela Butnariu has been an associate professor since 2023.
Elena Cojocaru, M.D., Ph.D., Lecturer University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa” Iasi, 1998; Medical Doctor Specialization in Laboratory Medicine, 2000-2005; Elena Cojocaru has worked as a Physician Laboratory Medicine- Emergency Clinical Hospital "Prof. Dr. Nicolae Oblu", Iasi, Romania, from 2020 to present; and a Physiology Lecturer from 1999 to present. Elena Cojocaru's current and previous research interests include the renin–angiotensin system, which has so many physiological and pathological implications. Elena Cojocaru is also a specialist in laboratory medicine. Elena Cojocaru's areas of expertise are physiology, laboratory medicine, and pulmonology. Elena Cojocaru is a member of the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS), the Federation of European Physiological Societies (FEPS), and the and the Romanian Society of Physiological Sciences (SRSF); Elena Cojocaru has won awards from the Association of Algesiology of Romania (2019), the Sponsorship American Thoracic Society (2011), the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Gold Sponsorship (2011), the Sponsorship American Thoracic Society (2010), the Romanian Society of Physiological Sciences Award (2010), the Silver Sponsorship: The ERS Annual Congress (2009), the XXIII National Conference of the Romanian Society of Physiological Sciences (2009), and the ERS Gold Sponsorship (2006).
